Your boots were made for walking and they’re going to walk all over [Camrose]… approximately 19 km of nature trails of walking right within the city – and it’s easy walking as they are all paved or shale surfaced.
Or come and play in our PLAYGROUNDS of ball diamonds, football fields, soccer pitches; curling and hockey rinks; indoor and outdoor skating rinks; tennis and volleyball courts; swimming pools and outdoor spray park, and while you’re at it test your kid’s skills at the skateboarding park.
We groom our two separate systems of winter ski trails with great pride – whether you prefer easy, intermediate, or advanced – jackrabbit, cross country, biathlon, or choose to experience the luge – come and play for a day or consider a longer winter stay.
Just a short drive out of the city, we grow the tallest corn in the country and not only that - it grows in confusing labyrinth patterns. Go craz---y – trying to find your way out of the corn maze—eee ! …and then prepare yourself for a challenging game of 18 hole mini-golf followed by an evening around the crackling fire pit.
Stroll the beautiful downtown in the heart of Camrose to experience fabulous boutique-type stores and professional businesses. The unique rosemalled bench planters are delightful and have been designed to enhance your experience. You may also choose to take a tour of the historical downtown district which is home to many interesting buildings that date back over one hundred years.
Have you ever fancied yourself being in the pilot’s seat of your own plane? Then come fly with us – you can’t quite sit in them yet, but try your skills landing your radio-controlled model airplane on our runways. On the last weekends of May and June we celebrate “Fun Flys”.
Visit the newly restored 100 year old Bailey Theatre located on Main Street in City Center Camrose which is a fully operational performing arts theatre that seats over 400 and is complete with a cozy Bistro featuring high quality home made lunches. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.
Got a lucky rabbits-foot? – tuck it into your shoe and hurry down to the Camrose casino – you might get lucky and get a chance to hear ‘Johnny Cash’ or some great comedian while you munch your way through delicious fares.

Or just sit quietly with your coffee from our specialty coffee houses and listen to the birds – all 200 varieties of them! …that we have counted so far that is. Bring your travel mug, your walking shoes and your binoculars.
